April 21, 2009, Created by Elvira

Acid reflux can become very serious if it is not appropriately treated and can even lead to severe complications. The factors responsible for causing acid reflux are multiple: low pressure in the region of the esophagus, inappropriate activity of the lower esophageal sphincter a muscular valve at the union between the esophagus and the stomach , excessive production of digestive acid or physiological abnormalities of the esophagus. Proper Flossing Of Teeth

March 7, 2009, Created by Kaley

It is such a simple thing to do yet most people do not floss on a regular basis. Of those who do, many do not floss properly. When done properly, flossing is one of the most important things you can do to maintain the health of your teeth. This article will give you advice on how to floss correctly. To begin, cut off a two foot section of dental floss. Take the floss and wrap one end around your middle finger of each hand. You will then use your index fingers to manipulate the floss. It is simple but most people fail to wrap the floss around the tooth and simply go up and down between their teeth. This misses...

Event Catering The Most Primitive Form Of Comfort

January 14, 2009, Created by Fausto

Nancy did not consider herself to be fussy. She was just trying to eat a healthy diet which included herbal teas. The trouble was; when she attended seminars and workshops, a frequent part of her job, she was always offered coffee in the breaks and rarely, if ever, her chosen beverage. Even when she brought along her own herbal tea bags, the venue could never seem to be trusted to supply boiling hot drinkable water to complete the infusion. The dietary requirements of your delegates can be very complex. You may have to deal with vegans, vegetarians, fruitarians, those on a raw food diet, those with nut allergies, wheat intolerance, dairy intolerance and, who knows, maybe the occasional carnivore. Of course, it is unlikely that you will be producing the food yourselves; however it is important that you have a method of keeping an accurate record of this information to pass on to your caterers. If your chosen venue does not provide...

You re not alone. I have too. The fear I conquered in the story below may not be my biggest fear but with a little reflection I saw how it really stopped me from enjoying my family and life to the fullest. It also taught me a valuable lesson of how taking steps to overcome my fear resulted in increased self confidence. At the end of my story, I ll give you tips for conquering your own fears. A few weekends ago my husband and I took our daughter Kasie, and my nephew Zach, to a water park. We all love the water and were having a blast until my hubby and the kids took off for --- the water slides. As they enthusiastically ran to the slides I slowed wayyyy down. In fact, I stopped, found a chair and proceeded to organize our belongings. As I settled into a lawn chair I saw Kasie and Zach whoosh down their side-by-side slides and plunge, feet first, into the cool water. They quickly resurfaced, sputtering and laughing and ready for more. As...
